Only the winner of each match advances to the next round. This format is commonly used in esports, tennis, March Madness, and many other competitions.

Important: This is a single-elimination bracket only. For double-elimination (where teams get a second chance after losing), you would need to create two separate brackets or use specialized tournament software.

The generator automatically formats your bracket to the next power of two, adding BYE entries if needed. BYE means that participant automatically advances to the next round without playing. This ensures the bracket structure remains clean and balanced, even when you have an odd number of participants. Once the bracket is generated, you can easily track winners by entering them in the input fields, and the tool will automatically populate the next round.

How to use
